Overview

The Clinical Consultant - Post Go-Live Readiness supports local site-specific Post Go-Live Electronic Health Record (EHR) Transition Readiness project plans. This role ensures seamless post-implementation operations by assessing readiness, mitigating risks, and optimizing clinical workflows. Based in Arlington, VA, the consultant collaborates with site teams to achieve sustainable EHR adoption and superior patient care outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage site-specific Post Go-Live EHR readiness project plans.
• Conduct comprehensive readiness assessments and gap analyses at clinical sites.
• Facilitate training sessions and provide hands-on support for end-users post-go-live.
• Identify, prioritize, and resolve operational issues during EHR stabilization phase.
• Collaborate with clinical leaders to optimize workflows and ensure compliance.
• Monitor key performance indicators and report progress to project stakeholders.
• Lead change management initiatives to drive user adoption and proficiency.
• Provide expert guidance on EHR best practices and system optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of clinical experience with EHR implementations (Cerner/Oracle preferred).
• Proven expertise in post-go-live support and hypercare operations.
• Strong project management skills with PMP or equivalent certification.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Ability to travel to client sites as needed.
