Oracle Government, Defense, and Intelligence is seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Cloud Account Executive to accelerate cloud adoption and digital transformation. Based in Reston, VA, this role focuses on driving Oracle Cloud revenue growth within government sectors. Responsibilities

• Prospect, qualify, and close new cloud business opportunities with government accounts.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales quotas.
• Build relationships with key stakeholders in defense and intelligence agencies.
• Conduct product demonstrations and proof-of-concept sessions for Oracle Cloud.
• Collaborate with technical teams to craft customized cloud solutions.
• Manage full sales cycles from lead generation to contract negotiation.
• Track market trends and competitive landscape to inform sales strategies.
• Provide accurate sales forecasting and pipeline management via CRM tools.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of enterprise cloud sales experience, preferably in government sectors.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas in cloud or SaaS environments.
• Deep understanding of government procurement processes and compliance.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or comparable platforms.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for C-level engagements.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field.
