Position Overview

As a Cloud Applications Technical Architect - UKI at Oracle, you will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions as a Fusion Applications AppsTech expert. You will inspire customers to invest in our innovative cloud solutions by positioning them effectively and demonstrating their transformative value. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications, collaborating with diverse teams across the UK and Ireland to deliver exceptional outcomes for enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications solutions tailored to customer business requirements in the UKI region
• Lead technical workshops and demonstrations to showcase Fusion AppsTech capabilities, driving customer adoption and investment decisions
• Collaborate with sales teams, product managers, and customers to translate complex business challenges into innovative technical architectures
• Develop proof-of-concept prototypes and reference architectures using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Fusion Applications
• Provide expert guidance on integration strategies, extensions, and customizations for Oracle Fusion ERP, HCM, and SCM modules
• Conduct technical assessments and gap analyses to position Oracle solutions optimally against competitive offerings
• Mentor junior architects and solution consultants on best practices for Fusion Applications deployment and optimization
• Stay abreast of emerging cloud technologies and Oracle product roadmaps to influence solution designs and customer strategies
• Deliver high-impact presentations at industry events and customer briefings to establish Oracle as the preferred cloud partner
• Support pre-sales activities by creating technical proposals, solution blueprints, and ROI analyses for UKI prospects

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in enterprise software architecture, with at least 4 years focused on Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications
• Deep expertise in Oracle Fusion middleware, AppsTech components, and integration technologies (e.g., OIC, VBCS, FAW)
• Proven track record of leading technical solution design for large-scale cloud deployments in ERP, HCM, or SCM domains
• Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, microservices, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services
• Excellent communication skills with experience presenting complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Willingness to travel within the UK and Ireland as needed for customer engagements
• Right to work in the United Kingdom

Preferred Qualifications

• Oracle Cloud certification (e.g., Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications Architect or OCI Architect Professional)
• Experience with Oracle Redwood Design System and Page Composer for Fusion Applications customization
• Background in pre-sales consulting or solution engineering within the UKI enterprise market
• Familiarity with industry-specific solutions (e.g., Financial Services, Public Sector, Manufacturing)
• Advanced knowledge of data management tools like Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) and Fusion Analytics Warehouse (FAW)
