Position Overview

As a Cloud Consultant - Finance/PPM Functional, you will operate independently to deliver high-quality work products on client engagements, leveraging deep expertise in Oracle Cloud solutions for Finance and Project Portfolio Management (PPM). You will apply Oracle methodologies, industry best practices, and innovative designs to implement products that meet diverse customer needs across multiple business processes. This role demands independent judgment, complex problem-solving, and a passion for driving digital transformation in finance and project management domains.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and configure Oracle Cloud Finance and PPM modules to align with customer business requirements and industry best practices.
  • Lead functional workshops to gather requirements, define solution blueprints, and map processes to Oracle Cloud capabilities.
  • Implement end-to-end solutions including Financials, Procurement, Projects, and Grants Management within Oracle Fusion Cloud.
  • Conduct fit-gap analyses, prototype configurations, and develop customized extensions using Oracle tools like Page Composer and Redwood Experience.
  • Perform system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and support data migration activities for seamless go-live transitions.
  • Provide post-implementation support, including issue resolution, performance tuning, and knowledge transfer to client teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical architects and developers, to integrate Finance/PPM with other Oracle Cloud modules.
  • Deliver training sessions and documentation to empower customers in adopting and optimizing Oracle Cloud solutions.
  • Stay abreast of Oracle Cloud updates, roadmaps, and emerging features to recommend proactive enhancements.
  • Contribute to thought leadership by creating case studies and best practices for Finance/PPM implementations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) or Oracle Fusion Cloud Finance/PPM implementations.
  • Proven expertise in configuring Oracle Cloud Financials modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Assets.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud PPM modules including Project Foundation, Project Costing, Project Billing, and Contracts.
  • Strong understanding of finance and project management business processes across industries like manufacturing, services, and public sector.
  • Experience applying Oracle Unified Method (OUM) or similar implementation methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex concepts to C-level executives and stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% within India for client engagements as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Oracle Cloud certification in Financials or PPM (e.g., Oracle Fusion Financials Cloud Implementation Professional).
  • Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for Finance/PPM integrations.
  • Prior consulting experience with Big 4 firms or leading system integrators on Oracle projects.
  • Familiarity with advanced PPM features like Capital Projects and Program Management.
  • Knowledge of reporting tools such as Oracle BI Publisher, OTBI, and Financial Reporting Studio.
