Overview

Oracle is seeking a Cloud Sales Representative_Utility in Tokyo, Japan, to drive sales of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) solutions to utility sector clients. This role involves identifying opportunities, building relationships, and closing deals to help utilities modernize operations with cloud technology. Responsibilities

  • Prospect and generate leads within the utility industry for OCI products and services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at utility companies.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations tailored to utility use cases.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet quarterly and annual targets.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to create customized cloud solutions for clients.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to close high-value deals.
  • Track sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasting using CRM tools.
  • Stay updated on utility industry trends and Oracle's cloud innovations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in cloud/SaaS or utility sector.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud computing, OCI, or comparable platforms.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in Japanese and English.
  • Ability to travel within Japan as needed.
