Position Overview

As a Cloud Solution Engineer – Retail Planning Solutions, you will join Oracle's Retail Consulting team within the Latin America Included Services organization, playing a pivotal role in our Knowledge Organization. You will work directly with retail clients to sell and execute Oracle Retail product projects, creating and leading transformational proposals alongside C-level executives. Through heterogeneous, multidisciplinary squads, you will establish consultative value-selling processes that drive business outcomes in cloud-based retail planning solutions. This role is based in SP, Brazil, and offers the opportunity to shape the future of retail technology in the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect cloud-native solutions using Oracle Retail Planning applications to optimize retail forecasting, demand planning, and inventory management.
• Lead multidisciplinary squads in developing transformational proposals that align Oracle cloud technologies with client retail strategies.
• Collaborate with C-level executives to identify business challenges and demonstrate value through consultative selling approaches.
• Implement and configure Oracle Retail cloud solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing retail ecosystems.
• Conduct workshops and proof-of-concept sessions to showcase retail planning capabilities and drive project adoption.
• Execute end-to-end project implementations, from requirements gathering to deployment and hypercare support.
• Analyze retail data trends and provide insights to enhance planning accuracy and operational efficiency for clients.
• Develop customized dashboards and reporting tools within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure for real-time retail decision-making.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives within the Retail Consulting team.
• Monitor solution performance post-implementation and recommend optimizations for continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in retail IT solutions, with a focus on planning, forecasting, or supply chain management.
• Proven experience with Oracle Retail applications or comparable cloud-based retail planning platforms.
• Strong understanding of cloud technologies, including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and SaaS/PaaS solutions.
• Experience in consultative selling and leading cross-functional teams in client-facing project environments.
• Excellent communication skills in Portuguese and English, with the ability to engage C-level stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced consulting environment.
• Hands-on experience with data analytics tools and retail KPIs such as demand forecasting and inventory turnover.

Preferred Qualifications

• Oracle Retail certification (e.g., Oracle Retail Xstore, Merchandising, or Planning modules).
• Experience working with Latin American retail clients and understanding regional market dynamics.
• Knowledge of advanced analytics, AI/ML integration in retail planning, or integration with ERP systems.
• Master's degree in Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
• Previous experience in agile methodologies and squad-based project delivery.
