Job Description

Overview

The Oracle Practice Director for the Federal Civilian and Canadian Federal portfolio is a senior leader within Oracle GDI Consulting. This role drives cloud transformation and digital modernization across major U.S. civilian agencies including Commerce, Treasury, OPM, Education, VA, and DOL, as well as expanding engagements with the Government of Canada. The Director leads strategic growth, client relationships, and delivery excellence in these high-impact markets.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Federal Civilian and Canadian Federal practice, overseeing strategy, growth, and P&L accountability.
  • Drive cloud transformation initiatives using Oracle Cloud solutions for U.S. civilian agencies and Canadian government clients.
  • Build and maintain executive relationships with key stakeholders at agencies like Commerce, Treasury, VA, and DOL.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to expand Oracle's footprint in federal civilian and Canadian markets.
  • Oversee delivery of complex consulting engagements, ensuring high-quality outcomes and client satisfaction.
  • Mentor and develop a high-performing team of consultants and architects.
  • Collaborate with Oracle product teams to align solutions with federal and Canadian government requirements.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve revenue and profitability targets.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in IT consulting, with proven success in federal civilian agencies and/or government markets.
  • Deep expertise in Oracle Cloud technologies (ERP, HCM, SCM) and digital transformation.
  • Demonstrated track record of leading large-scale federal engagements and driving multimillion-dollar deals.
  • Strong executive presence and relationship-building skills with government C-level leaders.
  • Experience managing P&L for consulting practices in a Big 4 or similar firm.
  • Active U.S. security clearance (Secret or higher) and familiarity with Canadian federal procurement.
