Overview
The Region Build implementation team delivers technical expertise to design, evaluate, and develop cost-effective systems meeting user needs. Engineers configure system settings, execute comprehensive testing, and create specifications for automated systems aligned with business requirements. They provide consultation on automation and lead cross-functional teams to solve complex business challenges.
Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and develop cost-effective systems and procedures for data center builds.
- Configure system settings, options, and infrastructure in Abilene, TX data centers.
- Plan and execute unit, integration, and acceptance testing for deployed systems.
- Create detailed specifications for systems to meet business and technical requirements.
- Design automated systems and infrastructure details for scalability and efficiency.
- Provide expert consultation to users on automated systems and data center operations.
- Lead cross-functional teams to address business and systems-related issues.
- Analyze complex business problems and recommend automated system solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data center infrastructure and systems engineering.
- Proficiency in server configuration, networking, and automation tools.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle systems, Linux/Unix environments, and cloud infrastructure.
- Experience with testing methodologies and system integration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams.
