Join the Data Center Inventory Control Management (DCICM) team at OCI as a Data Center Inventory Control Specialist 3 in Chicago, IL. Play a lead role in driving inventory accuracy and material readiness across high-scale data center environments during build and sustainment phases. Own key logistics operations, lead audits, resolve discrepancies, oversee 3PL performance, mentor juniors, and improve processes to support mission-critical operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure 100% accuracy across data center operations.
• Resolve inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Oversee third-party logistics (3PL) providers and monitor performance metrics.
• Manage material flow and readiness for build and sustainment phases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and remove operational blockers.
• Mentor and train junior inventory control team members.
• Continuously improve inventory processes and logistics workflows.
• Ensure compliance with global inventory standards and ERP best practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in inventory control or logistics in data centers or high-scale environments.
• Strong proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and inventory management tools.
• Proven hands-on leadership and mentoring experience.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive, detail-oriented mindset.
• Experience managing 3PL vendors and performance oversight.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field; equivalent experience accepted.
