Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the data center, ensuring 99.99% uptime and reliability.
• Lead a team of technicians in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Oracle hardware and systems.
• Develop and implement strategies for data center capacity planning and scalability.
• Manage vendor relationships and procurement for data center equipment and services.
• Ensure compliance with safety, security, and environmental standards in all operations.
• Monitor and optimize power, cooling, and networking infrastructure for efficiency.
• Coordinate disaster recovery and business continuity planning and testing.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Oracle best practices and metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in data center operations, with 2+ years in a management role.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and related technologies.
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing technical teams.
• Expertise in server hardware, networking, storage, and data center facilities.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience with ITIL or similar frameworks.
