Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the data center, including racking, stacking, and cabling hardware.
• Manage deployment, configuration, and testing of servers, storage, and networking equipment.
• Coordinate decommissioning and disposal of end-of-life assets per compliance standards.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, capacity, and power usage to optimize efficiency.
• Lead a team of technicians, providing training and performance management.
• Implement and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Ensure adherence to security protocols, audits, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering and cloud teams on new project rollouts and upgrades.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data center management experience in a high-availability environment.
• Proven hands-on skills in server hardware installation and rack management.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle hardware, Linux/Unix systems, and networking.
• Experience with capacity planning, power management, and cooling systems.
• Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills with a focus on uptime.
• Fluency in English; German language skills a plus.
