Overview

Oracle is seeking a Night Shift Data Center Technician Manager to join our world-class team in Ashburn, VA. In this role, you will develop, implement, and support cutting-edge Oracle technology in a high-performance data center environment. Work nights to ensure seamless operations and innovation in cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of night shift data center technicians in daily operations and maintenance.
• Oversee hardware installations, rack deployments, and server configurations for Oracle Cloud.
• Monitor data center performance, capacity, and environmental controls during night hours.
• Troubleshoot and resolve critical incidents, minimizing downtime for mission-critical systems.
• Implement and enforce data center policies, safety standards, and best practices.
• Coordinate with engineering teams for new technology rollouts and upgrades.
• Conduct inventory audits, asset tracking, and documentation of data center resources.
• Train and mentor technicians to maintain high operational standards and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data center operations experience, with 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of server hardware, networking, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
• Experience with night shift management and 24/7 operations environments.
• Proficiency in DCIM tools, monitoring systems, and ticketing platforms.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle high-pressure situations.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
