Overview

The Global Physical Security (GPS) System Team at Oracle manages physical security technology across the corporation. We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager for retrofitting security systems projects across Oracle’s Data Center portfolio in EMEA, based in the United Kingdom. This role involves leading complex, non-routine projects through the full lifecycle to successful handover, applying advanced technical and business skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of retrofitting projects for Oracle-controlled security systems in EMEA data centers.
• Manage all aspects of the project lifecycle, from planning and design to execution and handover.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Apply advanced technical expertise in physical security systems to solve complex challenges.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and risk management plans.
• Conduct site assessments and oversee installation and testing of security technologies.
• Ensure compliance with corporate security standards and regulatory requirements.
• Provide mentorship to team members and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in project management, preferably in data center or physical security systems.
• Proven track record delivering complex retrofit projects in EMEA region.
• Deep technical knowledge of physical security technologies (access control, CCTV, intrusion detection).
• Strong business acumen and ability to manage budgets exceeding $1M.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
