Overview

The Data Center Software Architect (IC6) designs and leads software architecture for Oracle’s next-generation datacenter infrastructure. This role focuses on scalable, resilient systems for Datacenter Management Infrastructure (DCMI), Building Management Systems (BMS), and automation. The Architect collaborates with engineering, operations, and delivery teams to define standards, ensure interoperability, and accelerate global datacenter automation.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable software architectures for datacenter management systems.
• Lead development of resilient systems for DCMI, BMS, and automation.
• Define technical standards and best practices for datacenter software.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure system interoperability.
• Partner with operations to optimize datacenter workflows and automation.
• Work with delivery teams to accelerate global datacenter deployments.
• Drive innovation in datacenter infrastructure software solutions.
• Mentor engineers and review architectural designs and implementations.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in software architecture and distributed systems.
• Deep expertise in cloud infrastructure and datacenter technologies.
• Proven track record designing scalable, high-availability systems.
• Strong experience with automation frameworks and orchestration tools.
• Excellent collaboration skills across engineering and operations teams.
• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
