Responsibilities

• Perform hardware installations, rack-and-stack servers, and cabling in data center environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, network, and server issues to minimize downtime.
• Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and inventory management of data center assets.
• Monitor environmental controls, power systems, and cooling infrastructure for optimal performance.
• Execute change management procedures and support capacity expansion projects.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy and decommission OCI infrastructure.
• Document all activities, incidents, and resolutions in compliance with operational standards.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and data center security best practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Center Technician or similar role in a large-scale environment.
• Strong knowledge of server hardware, networking, and data center operations.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools, Linux/Unix systems, and ticketing systems.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in 24/7 shift rotations, and handle on-call duties.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail under pressure.
• A+ certification or equivalent; CompTIA, Cisco, or data center certifications preferred.
