Oracle is seeking an experienced Data Center Technician-3 in San Antonio, TX, with expertise in data center design, operations, racking, stacking, and hardware break-fix. Responsibilities

• Rack, stack, and cable servers, storage, and networking equipment in data center environments.
• Perform hardware break-fix, diagnostics, and repairs on Oracle systems and components.
• Execute data center design and operational tasks, including capacity planning and layout optimization.
• Monitor and maintain power, cooling, and environmental systems for optimal performance.
• Conduct inventory management, asset tagging, and documentation of hardware assets.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, cabling issues, and hardware failures under tight SLAs.
• Support de-racking, decommissioning, and secure disposal of end-of-life equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on installations, upgrades, and emergency responses.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Center Technician in enterprise environments.
• Proven expertise in server racking, cabling, and hardware troubleshooting (e.g., Dell, HPE, Cisco).
• Familiarity with data center operations, including power systems, HVAC, and structured cabling.
• Experience with Linux/Unix systems, scripting (Bash/Python), and basic networking (TCP/IP, VLANs).
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in 24/7 shift rotations, and stand for extended periods.
• A+ certification or equivalent; CompTIA Server+, DCIM knowledge a plus.
