An Oracle Data Center Technician 3 performs key roles in delivering core infrastructure and foundational technologies within OCI data center environments in West Jordan, UT. This position involves hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of data center hardware and systems to ensure high availability and performance. Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, storage, and networking equipment in the data center.
• Perform routine hardware diagnostics, repairs, and replacements to minimize downtime.
• Monitor environmental conditions including power, cooling, and rack security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in OCI infrastructure.
• Execute scheduled maintenance, patching, and firmware updates on systems.
• Document all activities, incidents, and changes using Oracle's tracking tools.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on capacity planning and expansions.
• Ensure compliance with data center safety, security, and operational standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in data center operations or IT hardware support.
• Strong knowledge of server hardware, Linux/Unix systems, and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with rack-and-stack, cabling, and data center best practices.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a 24/7 shift environment including nights/weekends.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• CompTIA A+, Server+, or equivalent certification preferred.
