Overview

Oracle is seeking a Data Center Technician 3 to perform repairs, installation, and monitoring of hardware and cable infrastructure in our West Jordan, UT data center. You will ensure the reliable operation of critical data center spaces supporting Oracle's cloud services. Join a dynamic team maintaining cutting-edge technology infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware repairs and replacements on servers, storage, and networking equipment.
• Install and configure cable infrastructure including fiber optics and copper cabling.
• Monitor data center environments using DCIM tools and respond to alerts promptly.
• Conduct routine maintenance and preventive checks on power systems and cooling infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware failures to minimize downtime.
• Document all repairs, installations, and incidents in the ticketing system.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on capacity planning and upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and data center standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in data center operations or IT hardware support.
• Strong knowledge of server hardware, networking, and cabling standards.
• Experience with DCIM tools and monitoring systems.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a 24/7 data center environment.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
• A+ certification or equivalent; CompTIA Server+ preferred.
