Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain data center hardware including servers, racks, and networking equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on critical infrastructure.
• Monitor environmental conditions such as power, cooling, and humidity in the data center.
• Execute cable management and labeling for optimal organization and airflow.
• Conduct inventory audits and asset tracking for hardware and components.
• Respond to hardware failures and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on new deployments and upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and data center security standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in data center operations or IT hardware support.
• Strong knowledge of server hardware, networking, and cabling standards.
• Experience with Linux/Unix systems and basic scripting.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a 24/7 shift environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• A+ Certification or equivalent (CompTIA, Cisco CCNA preferred).
