Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on data center hardware including servers, storage, and networking equipment.
• Monitor data center infrastructure using DCIM tools to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
• Execute rack and stack installations, cabling, and power distribution for new deployments.
• Respond to incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
• Conduct hardware inventory audits and asset management in compliance with Oracle standards.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on capacity planning and infrastructure upgrades.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols, environmental controls, and data center security policies.
• Document all activities, changes, and issues in ticketing systems for operational transparency.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in data center operations or IT hardware support.
• Strong knowledge of server hardware (e.g., Oracle, Dell, HPE), networking, and storage systems.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems and basic scripting (Bash/Python).
• Experience with DCIM tools, monitoring systems, and ticketing platforms like ServiceNow.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a 24/7 shift environment.
• Fluency in English and Japanese; relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, DCIL) a plus.
