Overview
An Oracle Data Center Technician plays a key role in delivering core infrastructure and foundational technologies within OCI data center environments. As a skilled technician, you perform repairs, installations, and monitoring across a wide range of data center systems, escalating issues appropriately while driving hardware performance improvements. You improve processes, introduce automation for simplification, follow directions meticulously, and take proactive action when needed.
Responsibilities
- Perform repairs, installations, and maintenance on data center hardware and systems.
- Monitor data center environments and equipment performance continuously.
- Escalate technical issues to appropriate OCI internal groups as needed.
- Drive performance improvements through ongoing learning and optimization.
- Follow detailed directions and adhere to all safety and operational protocols.
- Identify opportunities to improve current processes and workflows.
- Introduce automation tools to simplify and streamline operations.
- Support core infrastructure and foundational technologies in OCI environments.
Qualifications
