Overview

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) seeks a Data Center, Multi-Cloud Technician in Québec, QC, Canada for day or night shifts (TBD). Join our team to build and operate large-scale, multi-tenant cloud environments with distributed coordinated cloud services. Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain data center hardware including servers, storage, and networking equipment.
• Perform rack and stack operations for new deployments in multi-cloud environments.
• Monitor and troubleshoot OCI infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
• Conduct routine maintenance, patching, and upgrades on cloud hardware and software.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy and scale multi-cloud services.
• Respond to incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
• Manage cabling, power systems, and environmental controls in the data center.
• Document processes, configurations, and issues for operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in data center operations or cloud infrastructure support.
• Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or similar multi-cloud platforms.
• Strong knowledge of server hardware, networking, and storage systems.
• Experience with Linux/Unix systems and scripting (Bash, Python).
• Ability to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends as needed.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
