Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain data center hardware including servers, storage, and networking equipment.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on critical systems to minimize downtime.
• Monitor data center infrastructure using diagnostic tools and respond to alerts promptly.
• Execute rack and stack operations, cabling, and power distribution tasks with precision.
• Conduct hardware replacements, upgrades, and decomissions following Oracle standards.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to support testing, deployment, and optimization initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, data center policies, and environmental controls.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation for all equipment and changes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in data center operations or IT hardware support.
• Strong knowledge of server hardware, networking, and storage systems (e.g., Cisco, Dell, HPE).
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools, Linux/Unix commands, and scripting basics.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a high-pressure 24/7 environment.
• A+ certification or equivalent; CompTIA Server+ or Data Center certification preferred.
