Overview

Oracle Data Center Technicians play a key role in delivering core infrastructure and foundational technologies within OCI data center environments. As a skilled technician, you will perform repairs, installations, and monitoring across a wide range of data center systems. You will also design and implement network communications and solutions in a fast-paced, leading-edge database and applications company.

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware repairs, installations, and maintenance on servers, storage, and networking equipment.
• Monitor data center systems and infrastructure for performance, capacity, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, network, and environmental issues promptly.
• Design and implement network communications and connectivity solutions.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on data center facilities.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy and upgrade foundational technologies.
• Document all activities, configurations, and incidents in compliance with standards.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and data center operational procedures.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a data center technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of server hardware, networking, and storage systems.
• Experience with troubleshooting and repairing data center equipment.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems and basic scripting.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a 24/7 shift environment, including nights and weekends.
