Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) has an excellent opportunity for a Data Center Technician to help us build and operate the suite at significant scale. You'll work in a multi-tenant cloud environment, ensuring coordinated cloud services are broadly distributed across data centers. Join our team in Ohio to support cutting-edge infrastructure operations.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain data center hardware including servers, storage, and networking equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on OCI infrastructure.
• Monitor data center operations using diagnostic tools and respond to alerts promptly.
• Execute rack and stack operations for new deployments and expansions.
• Conduct hardware inventory audits and asset management.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and data center best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on capacity planning and upgrades.
• Document all activities, incidents, and resolutions in detail.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in data center operations or IT hardware support.
• Strong knowledge of server hardware, networking, and cabling standards.
• Experience with Linux/Unix systems and basic scripting.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a 24/7 shift environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• CompTIA A+ or equivalent certification preferred.
