Overview

The Data Centre Technician - IC3 serves as the technical liaison between technology teams and the Data Centre Environment in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. You will troubleshoot and resolve all but the most complex infrastructure issues, escalate appropriately, and maintain comprehensive documentation on supported technologies. This role operates on a 24/7 shift rota system 365 days per year, with employment contingent on satisfactory background checks.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues in the data centre environment.
• Escalate complex issues to appropriate resolver groups.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation on supported technologies.
• Monitor and maintain all aspects of data centre equipment.
• Serve as technical liaison between technology teams and data centre operations.
• Perform preventive maintenance and hardware installations.
• Ensure 24/7 operational reliability through shift rotations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize data centre performance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Data Centre Technician or similar role.
• Deep understanding of data centre infrastructure and equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware and network issues.
• Excellent documentation and communication abilities.
• Availability for 24/7 shift work including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to pass background checks and security clearances.
