As a Principal Data Plane Architect, you will design, implement, and optimize highly available, scalable, and secure data architectures across Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and multi-cloud environments. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless data integration, performance, and reliability as a technical subject matter expert.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable data plane solutions for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and multi-cloud environments.
• Implement high-performance data pipelines ensuring low-latency and high-throughput processing.
• Optimize data storage, retrieval, and processing systems for cost-efficiency and reliability.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate data services across distributed cloud platforms.
• Develop and maintain secure data architectures compliant with industry standards and regulations.
• Lead performance tuning and troubleshooting of complex data plane issues at scale.
• Mentor engineers on data architecture best practices and emerging technologies.
• Drive innovation in data plane capabilities through proof-of-concepts and research.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure architecture, with focus on data plane design.
• Deep expertise in distributed systems, networking, and data processing technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Go, Python, or C++ for systems development.
• Experience with data protocols (gRPC, HTTP/2), storage systems, and caching mechanisms.
• Proven track record of delivering production-scale, highly available data services.
