Position Overview

As a Data Platform and AI Sales Executive in Solna, Sweden, you will drive revenue growth by selling Oracle's advanced Data Platform and AI solutions to enterprise customers across the Nordics. This role involves building strategic relationships, delivering compelling value propositions, and closing complex deals in a fast-paced, quota-driven environment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to uncover customer needs and position Oracle's cloud-based AI and data management offerings as transformative business enablers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and qualify leads for Oracle's Data Platform and AI solutions, targeting enterprise accounts in the Nordics region
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets
  • Conduct discovery sessions to understand customer business challenges and align Oracle solutions with their data and AI objectives
  • Deliver high-impact product demonstrations and proof-of-concept presentations showcasing Oracle's AI capabilities
  • Negotiate contracts, manage deal cycles, and close multi-million-dollar transactions with C-level executives
  • Build and nurture long-term customer relationships to drive renewals, expansions, and upsell opportunities
  • Collaborate with solution engineers, partners, and marketing teams to create customized sales campaigns
  • Track sales activities in CRM systems and provide accurate forecasting to regional leadership
  • Stay abreast of industry trends in data platforms, AI/ML, and cloud computing to position Oracle competitively
  • Represent Oracle at industry events, webinars, and customer workshops to generate pipeline and thought leadership

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of proven experience in enterprise software sales, with a focus on data platforms, AI, or cloud solutions
  • Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales quotas in a B2B environment
  • Strong understanding of data management, AI/ML technologies, and enterprise cloud architectures
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging C-level stakeholders
  • Proficiency in CRM tools such as Salesforce and sales forecasting methodologies
  • Fluency in English and Swedish; additional Nordic languages highly advantageous
  • Ability to travel up to 50% within the Nordics region

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling Oracle, AWS, Azure, or similar cloud data/AI solutions
  • Technical background or certifications in AI, machine learning, or database technologies
  • Existing network of contacts in the Nordics enterprise market, particularly in finance, manufacturing, or public sector
  • Advanced degree (MBA) or relevant sales training certifications
  • Proven success in consultative selling and solution architecture discussions
