We are seeking passionate Database Administrators who are experts in Oracle Database, Oracle Cloud, and Oracle Autonomous Database. Ideal candidates have current experience managing production environments on Unix platforms, with a strong interest in expanding skills in cloud technologies. Responsibilities
- Administer and optimize Oracle Database instances in production Unix environments.
- Manage Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Autonomous Database deployments.
- Perform database installations, upgrades, patching, and migrations.
- Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.
- Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Secure databases through access controls, encryption, and compliance measures.
- Collaborate with development teams to tune SQL queries and database schemas.
- Document processes and provide 24/7 on-call support for critical systems.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on Oracle Database administration experience.
- Proficiency in Unix/Linux platforms and shell scripting.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Cloud and Autonomous Database services.
- Experience with performance tuning, RMAN, Data Guard, and RAC.
- Familiarity with SQL, PL/SQL, and database monitoring tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
