Oracle is seeking a DataCenter Technician in Milan (Siziano) to define, design, and implement network communications and solutions. Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain data center hardware including servers, storage, and networking equipment.
• Monitor and troubleshoot network communications to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
• Design and implement scalable network solutions for database and application environments.
• Perform routine maintenance, patching, and upgrades on data center systems.
• Respond to incidents, diagnose issues, and execute recovery procedures swiftly.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy new infrastructure and cloud services.
• Conduct capacity planning and performance tuning for data center resources.
• Document configurations, processes, and maintain compliance with security standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in data center operations or network engineering.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF) and hardware.
• Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure or similar cloud platforms.
• Experience with Linux/Unix systems and server administration.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in high-pressure environments.
• Fluency in English; Italian preferred. Willingness to work shifts including nights/weekends.
