Oracle is seeking a skilled DataCenter Technician to join our team in Madrid, Spain. In this role, you will maintain and troubleshoot data center hardware and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and uptime for Oracle's cloud services. Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, storage systems, and networking equipment in the data center.
• Perform routine hardware diagnostics, repairs, and replacements to minimize downtime.
• Monitor data center environment, including power, cooling, and security systems.
• Execute rack and stack operations for new deployments and expansions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, firmware, and connectivity issues efficiently.
• Conduct inventory management and asset tracking for data center resources.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on system upgrades and migrations.
• Ensure compliance with data center safety protocols and documentation standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in data center operations or IT hardware support.
• Strong knowledge of server hardware (e.g., Oracle, Dell, HPE) and Linux/Unix systems.
• Experience with networking fundamentals and cabling standards.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a 24/7 data center environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• EU work eligibility and fluency in English; Spanish is a plus.
