Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain data center networking hardware and cabling infrastructure.
• Monitor and troubleshoot network performance to minimize downtime and ensure high availability.
• Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and repairs on servers, racks, and cooling systems.
• Implement security protocols and access controls for data center facilities.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy new database and application solutions.
• Conduct capacity planning and optimization for network resources.
• Document configurations, procedures, and incident reports accurately.
• Respond to on-call emergencies and participate in 24/7 shift rotations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in data center operations or network technician roles.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF) and hardware (switches, routers).
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems and Oracle database environments.
• Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Fluency in English; Italian language skills a plus.
