Overview

We're looking for a DevOps Engineer with strong operational and troubleshooting skills to support customer production systems in the Autonomous Database - Dedicated (ADB-D) Cloud DevOps team. This is Oracle's flagship product, offering the chance to work on the latest database releases and features as part of our cloud-first strategy. Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain production systems for Autonomous Database - Dedicated (ADB-D) ensuring 99.99% uptime.
• Troubleshoot complex issues in cloud infrastructure and database services proactively.
• Automate deployment pipelines and infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD tools.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) on incidents and implement preventive measures.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize database performance and scalability.
• Manage on-call rotations and respond to production alerts in real-time.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and Oracle tools.
• Contribute to disaster recovery planning and execution for high availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or cloud operations roles.
• Strong expertise with Oracle Database administration and cloud services.
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix systems, scripting (Python/Bash), and infrastructure as code.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and public cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, Azure).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
