Overview

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) seeks an exceptional Director of Project Control for its Data Center Infrastructure Delivery team in Nashville, TN or Austin, TX. This seasoned leader will drive program management, project control, and operational excellence to ensure successful delivery of data center projects. The role focuses on effective planning, monitoring, and control to shape the project control function.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project control function, overseeing planning, scheduling, and cost management for data center initiatives.
• Develop and implement robust project control frameworks, tools, and processes to enhance delivery efficiency.
• Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies across the portfolio.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and operations, to align on project goals.
• Prepare executive-level reports, dashboards, and forecasts on project status, budget, and timelines.
• Drive continuous improvement in project control methodologies and best practices.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing project control team.
• Ensure compliance with governance standards, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in project controls, program management, or related fields within data centers or infrastructure.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or equivalent; PMP or similar certification preferred.
• Proven track record leading large-scale, complex projects with multimillion-dollar budgets.
• Expertise in project management tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, Oracle Primavera Cloud).
• Strong analytical skills with experience in earned value management (EVM) and risk analysis.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
