Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking a Director to lead datacenter capacity planning and optimization across US facilities. This role drives strategic forecasting, resource allocation, and expansion to support OCI's rapid growth in cloud services. Responsibilities

• Develop and execute multi-year capacity planning strategies for OCI datacenters.
• Forecast demand for compute, storage, and networking resources based on business growth.
• Oversee datacenter expansions, upgrades, and procurement of hardware/infrastructure.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and finance teams to optimize capacity utilization.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement efficiency improvements to reduce waste.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for datacenter capacity.
• Lead a team of capacity planners and analysts, fostering innovation and best practices.
• Provide executive reporting on capacity trends, risks, and mitigation strategies.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in datacenter operations, capacity planning, or infrastructure management.
• Proven leadership experience directing high-performing teams in cloud environments.
• Deep expertise in hyperscale datacenter design, power/cooling systems, and scalability.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in forecasting tools and data analytics.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
• Experience with OCI, AWS, Azure, or similar cloud platforms highly desirable.
