As Director of Applied Science, lead efforts to establish a world-class science and engineering center emphasizing excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead applied science teams in developing AI/ML models for healthcare applications.
• Define and execute product strategy for AI-driven health solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to integrate science into scalable platforms.
• Drive innovation in automated healthcare workflows and predictive analytics.
• Mentor scientists and engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and creativity.
• Partner with clinical and business stakeholders to align science with real-world needs.
• Oversee research initiatives advancing Oracle Health's AI capabilities.
• Represent applied science in executive leadership and strategic planning.

Qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science, AI, or related field; 10+ years in applied science leadership.
• Proven track record delivering AI/ML products in healthcare or enterprise settings.
• Deep expertise in machine learning, NLP, and generative AI technologies.
• Experience scaling science teams in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments.
• Strong understanding of healthcare data, regulations (HIPAA), and clinical workflows.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and executive audiences.
