Overview

Oracle is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior EMC Compliance Engineer to join our Global Compliance Engineering team in Santa Clara, CA. This role supports regulatory compliance initiatives, ensuring our product portfolio meets international Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) standards and regional requirements. The successful candidate will collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams during New Product Introduction (NPI) and sustaining phases.

Responsibilities

• Conduct EMC pre-compliance testing on hardware prototypes and production units.
• Perform emissions and immunity testing per CISPR, FCC, and ETSI standards.
• Analyze test data and generate detailed compliance reports.
• Collaborate with design teams to resolve EMC-related design issues.
• Support certification processes with testing labs and regulatory bodies.
• Maintain EMC test equipment and laboratory calibration records.
• Document test procedures and results for NPI and sustaining engineering.
• Assist in developing EMC design guidelines for new products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in EMC testing or compliance engineering.
• Proficiency with EMC test equipment (spectrum analyzers, LISNs, antennas).
• Familiarity with EMC standards (FCC Part 15, CISPR 22/32, IEC 61000).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
