Position Overview

As an ERP Industry Sales Executive - Manufacturing, Growth Territory, you will drive revenue growth by selling Oracle's industry-leading ERP solutions to manufacturing clients in high-potential growth markets across the United States. This role focuses on identifying opportunities, building strategic relationships, and closing complex deals to help manufacturing organizations optimize operations, supply chains, and digital transformation initiatives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions that address unique industry challenges and accelerate customer success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and generate leads within the manufacturing sector targeting growth territories to build a robust sales pipeline
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets
  • Conduct discovery sessions with C-level executives and key stakeholders to uncover business pain points in manufacturing operations
  • Demonstrate Oracle ERP solutions, including Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, highlighting manufacturing-specific features like production planning and inventory management
  • Negotiate complex contracts, pricing, and terms to close multi-million-dollar deals while maximizing customer value
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with manufacturing industry influencers, partners, and decision-makers
  • Collaborate with solution engineers, product specialists, and channel partners to craft customized proposals and proofs-of-concept
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies and improve win rates
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting and pipeline management using Oracle's CRM tools
  • Represent Oracle at industry events, trade shows, and manufacturing conferences to generate visibility and leads

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
  • 8+ years of proven experience in enterprise software sales, with at least 5 years focused on ERP solutions in the manufacturing industry
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding sales quotas in a quota-carrying role
  • Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, including supply chain management, discrete and process manufacturing, and Industry 4.0 trends
  • Strong proficiency in CRM tools such as Salesforce or Oracle CX, and Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging C-suite executives
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% within the United States growth territories
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment while collaborating virtually

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling Oracle ERP or comparable solutions (e.g., SAP, Infor) to manufacturing clients
  • Existing network of contacts within the manufacturing industry, including OEMs, automotive, aerospace, or consumer goods sectors
  • Advanced degree (MBA) or relevant certifications such as Oracle Sales Certified Professional
  • Familiarity with growth territories including emerging markets in the Midwest, Southeast, or Southwest US
  • Knowledge of cloud migration strategies and hybrid ERP deployments
