Overview

The Field CTO is a senior customer-facing technology leader within Oracle’s Customer Success Services (CSS) team, driving technical strategy and managed services for enterprise clients. This role delivers strategic advisory and solution design, partnering with customers and internal teams to solve complex business challenges. The Field CTO ensures clients leverage CSS expertise to accelerate digital transformation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and present technical strategies aligned with customer business objectives and Oracle's CSS offerings.
• Lead solution design workshops, proofs-of-concept, and architecture reviews for enterprise engagements.
• Collaborate with sales, product, and delivery teams to shape managed services proposals and contracts.
• Provide executive-level technical advisory to C-suite stakeholders on cloud adoption and optimization.
• Drive customer success by identifying expansion opportunities within existing accounts.
• Mentor CSS technical teams and contribute to service enablement and best practices.
• Stay ahead of industry trends to position Oracle solutions for emerging technologies like AI and multicloud.
• Deliver presentations and thought leadership at customer events, conferences, and Oracle forums.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in enterprise IT, with 5+ years in customer-facing technical leadership roles.
• Deep expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Fusion Applications, or related technologies.
• Proven track record leading digital transformation projects for Fortune 500 clients.
• Strong consulting skills with ability to influence executives and build strategic relationships.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for technical and business audiences.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent; advanced degree preferred.
