Position Overview

As a Financial Analyst Intern in Nashville, TN, you will support the finance team in delivering actionable insights to drive Oracle's business performance. This role offers hands-on experience in financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting within a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and variance analysis for business units
• Develop and maintain financial models using Excel to forecast revenue and expenses
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes by gathering and validating data inputs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to compile data for executive presentations
• Perform ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and decision-making
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare dashboards for performance monitoring
• Assist in month-end close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries
• Research market trends and competitor benchmarks to inform financial strategies
• Document processes and findings to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal standards

Required Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 or equivalent academic standing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and basic formulas
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data accurately
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Availability for full-time internship during summer or academic term

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous internship or coursework experience in financial analysis or accounting
