Position Overview

We are seeking a talented Full Stack Software Developer specializing in Java and Web Technologies to design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug enterprise Java/web applications and cloud solutions. In this role, you will build scalable, high-performance applications that power Oracle's cloud services and support global customers. Collaborate with agile teams in a dynamic environment focused on delivering robust, secure, and innovative software solutions from our Bengaluru office.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop full-stack enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and modern web frameworks like React or Angular
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices for cloud-native architectures on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex issues in production Java/web applications to ensure high availability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, QA, and DevOps to define and implement technical requirements
• Implement secure coding practices and perform code reviews to maintain application quality and compliance
• Integrate front-end components with back-end services, leveraging databases like Oracle Database and NoSQL solutions
• Develop and maintain automated testing suites using JUnit, Selenium, and CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or GitLab
• Optimize application performance through profiling, caching strategies, and database query tuning
• Participate in agile ceremonies, contribute to sprint planning, and deliver features iteratively
• Document technical designs, APIs, and deployment processes for knowledge sharing and maintainability

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack development with Java and web technologies
• Strong proficiency in Java 8+, Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security)
• Hands-on experience with front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular
• Experience building RESTful web services and working with relational databases (e.g., Oracle DB, PostgreSQL)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or AWS
• Proficiency in Git for version control and agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes
• Knowledge of Oracle Fusion Cloud or Oracle SaaS applications
• Familiarity with messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (Terraform)
• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
