You'll sustain high-performance hardware platforms, troubleshoot complex issues, and enhance system longevity for mission-critical cloud infrastructure. Responsibilities

• Perform root-cause analysis on hardware failures in Cloud and AI systems to prevent recurrence.
• Develop and implement sustaining fixes, including firmware updates and hardware modifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system reliability and performance.
• Conduct failure mode analysis and create detailed reports for engineering and leadership.
• Support manufacturing and field teams with hardware troubleshooting and resolutions.
• Innovate solutions to enhance hardware lifespan and reduce downtime in production environments.
• Test and validate hardware changes under real-world cloud workloads.
• Mentor junior engineers on sustaining engineering best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field; Master's preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in hardware sustaining engineering or related roles.
• Strong expertise in server hardware, including CPUs, GPUs, memory, and networking components.
• Proficiency in diagnostic tools, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and scripting (Python/Bash).
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, AI systems, or high-performance computing.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
