Industry Sales Executive - Communications, Media and Entertainment

Job Description

Overview

Sells a subset of Oracle products or services directly or via partners to a large number of named accounts, non-named accounts, and geographical territories within the Communications, Media, and Entertainment industry. Drives revenue growth by identifying customer needs, demonstrating Oracle solutions, and closing complex deals. Collaborates with internal teams and partners to deliver tailored cloud, database, and application solutions to industry leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and generate leads within targeted Communications, Media, and Entertainment accounts and territories.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and proof-of-concepts showcasing Oracle's cloud and SaaS offerings.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve quarterly and annual sales quotas.
  • Collaborate with partners, alliances, and internal teams to create joint go-to-market strategies.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to close high-value deals efficiently.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting and pipeline management using Oracle CRM tools.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and Oracle product roadmap to advise customers.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of enterprise software sales experience, with proven success in Communications, Media, or Entertainment sectors.
  • Track record of exceeding sales quotas in a named account or territory model.
  • Deep knowledge of cloud computing, SaaS, PaaS, and Oracle technologies (e.g., OCI, Fusion Applications).
  • Strong business acumen and ability to solve complex customer challenges with technology.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field; MBA preferred.
