Overview

Oracle's Industry Sales Executive - Logistics sells a targeted subset of products and services directly or through partners to named accounts, non-named accounts, and specific geographical territories across the United States. This role drives revenue growth by identifying logistics industry opportunities and delivering tailored Oracle cloud solutions. Success hinges on building strategic relationships and exceeding sales targets in a dynamic, competitive market.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and generate leads within the logistics sector targeting named accounts and geographic territories.
  • Sell Oracle's cloud-based supply chain, transportation, and warehouse management solutions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers in logistics firms.
  • Collaborate with partners and channel ecosystems to co-sell and expand market reach.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and proof-of-concept trials for prospects.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead qualification to contract negotiation and closure.
  • Forecast sales pipelines accurately and achieve or exceed quarterly revenue quotas.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and Oracle product updates to advise clients effectively.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of enterprise software sales experience, with proven success in logistics or supply chain domains.
  • Deep knowledge of logistics industry challenges, including transportation, warehousing, and global trade.
  • Track record of exceeding sales quotas in a quota-carrying role (e.g., $2M+ annual bookings).
  • Strong understanding of SaaS/cloud sales models and CRM tools like Salesforce.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for engaging executive audiences.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field; relevant certifications a plus.
