Overview

Oracle's Industry Sales Executive drives revenue growth by selling a targeted subset of Oracle's cloud-based products and services directly to customers or through strategic partners. This role focuses on named accounts, non-named accounts, or specific geographical territories within the United States, leveraging deep industry expertise to address complex business challenges. Success is measured by achieving sales quotas and fostering long-term client relationships in competitive markets.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities within assigned accounts or territories.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans tailored to industry-specific needs, such as healthcare, finance, or manufacturing.
  • Collaborate with partners and channel ecosystems to co-sell Oracle solutions and expand market reach.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and proof-of-concept sessions to showcase Oracle's value proposition.
  • Build and nurture relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers to uncover business requirements.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and deal closure.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting, pipeline management, and regular reporting to leadership.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and Oracle product updates to maintain a consultative selling approach.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of proven enterprise software sales experience, ideally with Oracle or similar SaaS providers.
  • Strong track record of exceeding sales quotas in a territory or account-based model.
  • Deep knowledge of specific industries (e.g., financial services, public sector, retail) and their technology challenges.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with C-suite audiences.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools like Salesforce and sales analytics platforms.
