Overview

As an Interoperability Regulatory Strategist in Oracle's Health & Life Sciences division, you will monitor state and federal legislation, regulations, and guidance to ensure compliance. Collaborate with product engineering, development teams, and subject matter experts to advise on Oracle product development and draft strategic papers advancing Oracle’s healthcare mission. Build strong business partnerships to identify and meet regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate evolving state and federal healthcare interoperability regulations and guidance.
• Collaborate with product engineering and development teams to integrate regulatory requirements into Oracle products.
• Advise subject matter experts on compliance strategies for health and life sciences solutions.
• Draft strategy concepts, white papers, and position papers to support Oracle’s healthcare mission.
• Establish and maintain partnerships across Oracle business units to ensure regulatory alignment.
• Conduct regulatory impact assessments on proposed product features and updates.
• Represent Oracle in industry forums, working groups, and regulatory discussions.
• Develop training materials and compliance guidelines for internal teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in healthcare regulatory compliance or policy analysis.
• Deep knowledge of interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7) and regulations (HIPAA, 21st Century Cures Act).
• Strong understanding of health IT product development lifecycle.
• Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills for strategic documentation.
• Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and business teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare policy, law, public health, or related field (JD or MPH preferred).
