Overview

Oracle's Generative AI service development team seeks a technical lead with 8+ years of experience in backend development using Java and/or Python. Candidates must have hands-on expertise in designing and developing distributed systems at scale in cloud environments. Preferred experience includes ML Ops, Agentic AI, Generative AI, or GPU infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of scalable backend services for Generative AI platforms using Java and Python.
• Architect distributed systems capable of handling high-volume AI workloads in cloud environments.
• Implement and optimize ML Ops pipelines for efficient model deployment and monitoring.
• Develop Agentic AI solutions and integrate Generative AI models into production services.
• Manage GPU infrastructure for AI training and inference at scale.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical roadmaps and deliverables.
• Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to ensure best practices.
• Drive performance tuning, troubleshooting, and reliability improvements in production systems.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in backend development with Java and/or Python.
• Proven expertise in designing and developing distributed systems at scale.
• Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or OCI).
• Experience with ML Ops, Agentic AI, Generative AI, or GPU infrastructure preferred.
• Proficiency in microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to lead technical projects.
