Position Overview

We are seeking a talented Java Spring Boot Developer with AWS experience to join our dynamic engineering team in Mumbai, Maharashtra. In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy scalable microservices-based applications on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and AWS, leveraging Spring Boot for robust backend solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance cloud-native applications that meet enterprise-grade standards. Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop RESTful APIs and microservices using Java Spring Boot framework for cloud-native applications
• Implement and optimize scalable applications deployed on AWS services including EC2, Lambda, ECS, and RDS
• Integrate applications with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and AWS using Spring Cloud, ensuring seamless hybrid cloud operations
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following Oracle's coding standards and best practices
• Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, and product teams to define technical requirements and deliver end-to-end solutions
• Perform unit, integration, and performance testing using JUnit, Mockito, and AWS testing tools
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues in real-time AWS environments
• Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Deploy and manage applications using CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and AWS CodePipeline
• Stay updated with latest AWS services and Spring Boot advancements to recommend process improvements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of professional experience in Java development with strong expertise in Spring Boot framework
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and CloudFormation
• Proficiency in building RESTful web services, microservices architecture, and Spring Cloud components
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle DB) and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, MongoDB)
• Solid understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced agile environments
• Excellent communication skills with experience collaborating in cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certified Developer - Associate or Solutions Architect certification
• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and hybrid cloud deployments
• Familiarity with reactive programming using Spring WebFlux and Kafka for event-driven architectures
• Knowledge of security best practices including OAuth2, JWT, and AWS IAM roles
• Prior experience working on enterprise-scale applications at Fortune 500 companies
