Position Overview

We are seeking a talented Java Spring Boot Developer with AWS experience to join our dynamic engineering team in Mumbai, Maharashtra. In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy scalable microservices-based applications leveraging Java Spring Boot and AWS cloud services, integrating seamlessly with Oracle's cloud ecosystem. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build robust, high-performance solutions that support Oracle's enterprise customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge cloud-native technologies in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy RESTful microservices using Java Spring Boot framework for enterprise-scale applications
• Implement and optimize AWS services including EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, and CloudFormation to build scalable cloud-native solutions
• Collaborate with product owners and architects to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following Oracle's coding standards and best practices
• Perform unit, integration, and end-to-end testing using JUnit, Mockito, and AWS testing tools
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues in distributed AWS environments
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security in multi-tenant cloud architectures
• Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Integrate applications with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services and third-party APIs
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge-sharing within the team

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of professional experience in Java development with strong expertise in Spring Boot framework
• Hands-on experience with AWS core services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC) and Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation or Terraform)
• Proficiency in building RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures
• Strong understanding of relational databases (SQL) and NoSQL databases with ORM tools like Spring Data JPA
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in agile methodologies
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or other major cloud platforms (GCP, Azure)
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes (EKS)
• Knowledge of messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or AWS SQS/SNS
• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or AWS CloudWatch
• Certifications such as AWS Certified Developer Associate or Oracle Java certifications
