Overview

Oracle is seeking a Lead Customer Deal Desk Specialist (Thai Speaking) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to oversee deal structuring, pricing approvals, and customer contract negotiations for the Thailand market. This role leads a team in ensuring compliance, optimizing revenue, and accelerating sales cycles within Oracle's Deal Desk operations. Responsibilities

  • Lead the Thai-speaking Deal Desk team in reviewing and approving complex customer deals, contracts, and pricing configurations.
  • Collaborate with sales, legal, finance, and product teams to structure high-value transactions and resolve deal obstacles.
  • Ensure all deals comply with Oracle's pricing policies, revenue recognition rules, and regional regulations.
  • Optimize deal terms to maximize revenue, discounts, and customer satisfaction while minimizing risks.
  • Mentor and develop junior Deal Desk specialists, providing training on tools and best practices.
  • Analyze deal trends, identify process improvements, and implement automation for efficiency.
  • Handle escalations for Thai market deals, negotiating with customers and internal stakeholders in Thai and English.
  • Generate reports on deal performance, win rates, and pipeline health for leadership review.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years in Deal Desk, sales operations, or contract management, with 2+ years in leadership.
  • Fluency in Thai and English (speaking, reading, writing); additional languages a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of SaaS pricing models, revenue recognition (ASC 606), and contract terms.
  • Proficiency in Oracle systems (e.g., Deal Management, CPQ) or similar CRM/ERP tools.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
